In stoletje bo zardelo / Primer Kocbek (And the Century Will Blush / The Kocbek Case) marks the third collaboration between director Matjaž Berger and Silence.

Edvard Kocbek—one of the most intriguing and controversial figures in Slovenia—was a poet, writer, essayist, translator, and member of the Christian Socialists in the Liberation Front of the Slovene Nation and Slovene Partisans. With his political activities and literary works, Kocbek bridged the seemingly insurmountable divide between communism and Christianity … only to be ostracised by both communists and conservatives. Given the bitterly polarised political climate in Slovenia and the rest of the world, Kocbek's writings—a tribute to Tovarišija, camaraderie—remain as relevant as ever.

The play features an original score by Silence, which includes two adaptations. The duet remoulded Jean Sibelius’ Valse triste, Op. 44, No. 1., and Hey, Slavs, the anthem of the Pan-Slavic movement.

In 2022, In stoletje bo zardelo / Primer Kocbek won the Audience Award at the 52nd edition of Teden slovenske drame, the Week of Slovene Drama. Organised annually by the Prešeren Theatre Kranj, the festival presents the most successful performances based on a Slovene play or text and staged in the last season by Slovene theatres.
