That she had so completely recovered her sanity was a source of sadness to her. One should never be cured of one's passion.
— Marguerite Duras

Zamaknjenost Lol V. Stein (The Ravishing of Lol Stein), the sixth collaboration between director Matjaž Berger and Silence, is based on Marguerite Duras' same-titled 1964 novel.

The play centres on Lol Stein, a beautiful young woman who is securely married and settled in a comfortable life — and a voyeur. Returning with her husband and children to the town where, years before, her fiancé had abandoned her for another woman, she becomes inexorably drawn to recreating that long-past tragedy.

For the first time, Silence ventured into boogie-woogie, a genre of blues music that became popular during the late 1920’s. The predominantly electronic score includes one song, C'est tout, which is based on Marguerite Duras' same-titled poem. The song was performed by Benko.
